Becoming a consultant, either as part of a team or partnership, or as a freelance practitioner, can be a rewarding experience. Our consultants help to guide our clients and customers to a fully-informed decision. Our consultants apply comprehensive in-depth knowledge from relevant sources that will give clients/customers the results that they want.

Significant organizational change occurs, for example, when an organization changes its overall strategy for success, adds or removes a major section or practice, and/or wants to change the very nature by which it operates. It also occurs when an organization evolves based on various business cycles. For organizations to develop, they often must undergo significant change at various points in their development. That's why the topic of organizational change and development are components of business and the functionality of consulting.

The needs assessment and environmental scanning will determine if changes within the organization should occur and too what extent. The OD Consultant/Practitioner will play a vital role in communicating with management and leadership to determine the overall strategic goal and mission of the agency or company. However, management has the responsibility of communicating the short and long term goals and objectives so that the OD Consultant/ Practitioner can use this information to implement and apply organizational models that will be congruent to the organization’s mission.
