Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence is also called EI and often measured as an Emotional Intelligence Quotient or EQ, describes an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups. An important subfield of EI explores how emotional intelligence can be applied to benefit people dealing with a conflict or negotiation disputes. EI can add value in the areas of negotiation as it plays a critical role in both cognitive and emotional negotiation processes.
